Working alongside three other RN Supervisors, and supported by a team of CMSRN Acute Care Charge Nurses, this Unit Nurse Leader will have the resources and experience behind them to make a difference in patient care. The Medical Surgical Unit Nurse Supervisor reports directly to the Nursing Department Director or Manager, ensuring shared leadership aligns with organizational goals. The Medical Surgical Unit Nurse Supervisor supports a dynamic team of nurses and ancillary staff, all focused on patient-centered care. Collaboration with other departmental supervisors is essential for achieving operational efficiency and maintaining quality standards.The Medical Surgical Unit Nurse Supervisor oversees a fast-paced, 24-bed unit known for nursing excellence and a professional, supportive atmosphere. With strong provider engagement and exceptional technicians, the Medical Surgical Unit Nurse Supervisor will be able to foster a positive environment conducive to patient healing. The MedSurg Department Nursing Supervisor will mentor and develop staff through ongoing education, clinical competencies, and quality improvement initiatives. This RN Leader will also support administrative functions such as staffing, budgeting, and effective resource utilization.
