Overview: The Coors location of PRESNow is seeking an LPN. -Provide
direct patient care in the acute care setting of the emergency
department or inpatient area utilizing various nursing skills and
established standards of care at the direction of a registered

- High School Diploma or GED
- Practical Nursing Formal Education approved by the NM Board of
Nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse-NM
- BLS required
- PDS IV Certification course (within orientation period)
- Basic Cardiac Arrythmias (BCA) for areas where cardiac
telemetry monitoring is used (prior to ACLS)
- ACLS (within 6 months of being hired) for areas where
requiredEducation:Essential:

- Current BLS required Responsibilities:
- Adheres to the LPN scope of practice by contributing to the
assessment of the health status of individuals, families and
communities.
- Deliver direct patient care, including administering treatments
as prescribed, assisting nurses and physicians with various
procedures and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken
and patient responses.
- Administer prescribed medications, including medications given
through established parenteral/intravenous infusions as prescribed
by physician or standard protocols and document according to
policy.
- Document and report patient condition, care delivery and post
procedure follow up. Assess changes in patient s condition and
report to nurse and physician as needed.
- Incorporates nursing activities that create a compassionate,
supportive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff with
the aim of promoting comfort and healing
