Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.CertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS) current upon hire.Must obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days from hire.Must obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/ENPC within 6 months of hire or transfer into position.Newly graduated nurses must have current BLS upon hire, must obtain ACLS and PALS/ENPC within 6 months from hire.New hires will have ninety (90) days from date of hire to obtain American Heart Association -certifications.
