At UNM Hospitals, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the nursing profession.As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will have the opportunity to work in our Operating Room department, where you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to nursing and technician staff. You will also have the opportunity to educate and mentor colleagues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing and technician staff
• Develop and implement educational programs to enhance patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care
• Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledgeRequirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
  • RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreementWorking Conditions:
    • Heavy work with frequent lifting, bending, and standing
