• Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct thorough assessments, identify areas of concern, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care and support.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and regulatory requirements.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN).Credentials: Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.Experience: 1 year of direct experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong assessment and critical thinking skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Working ConditionsPhysical Demands: Heavy work, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.Environmental Conditions: May be exposed to chemical and biohazardous materials requiring personal protective equipment.
