• Certification Details
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment.

  • 75 MILE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility.
  • 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in a 15 plus bed intensive care unit required.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • Candidates must have an active NM or compact license.
    • Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
    • When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
      • Schedule Information
      • Varied Shift length 12 hours+ call/holidays/weekends as needed.
      • Able to take up to 6 patients.
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location (including ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, ICU, PCU & MS).
      • This includes PresNow ED/UCs
      • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
        • Unit Specific Information

          • Additional Details
          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
          • ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
